IELTS

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a globally acknowledged test of English language proficiency. Introduced in 1980, it has gained popularity as one of the leading English assessments around the world.  IELTS can be taken on a computer or paper, depending on the test-taker’s preference and the test score is valid for two years from the test date.  The exam evaluates a person’s capability to use and comprehend English in both academic settings and everyday situations.

The IELTS exam is available in two different formats.

• IELTS Academic: For those who want to start their career abroad or who intend to enroll in undergraduate or graduate programs at overseas universities, the IELTS Academic Test is appropriate. The purpose of this test is to assess candidates’ English language skills in preparation for higher education in an English-speaking country.
• IELTS General Training: It can be taken for employment-related training or other objectives. This exam evaluates the useful English language abilities required for regular conversation in a social and professional setting.
